when the saints

Wednesday 1 July 2015

Another idyllic after breakfast view over the garden at Yr Hafan
And another scorching day as we head down towards St David's for our walk along the coastal path
to St Non's well
and a lovely series of old kissing gates
Inside the little chapel of St Non's were stained glass windows from the Arts and Crafts movement
and our amble finally curved back into the minuscule, pretty city of St David's with it's incredible cathedral, just in time for lunch before visiting the cathedral itself
 (almost) all in the frame!
We enjoyed a wander around the magnificent interior

til finally taking yet another untrodden path back to our starting point before a refresh and an evening nosh back in downtown St David's

Welsh word of the day: Eglwys = Church
